Forthcoming research: Burnout in Europe

Occupational burnout – the physical, emotional and mental exhaustion that occurs as a response to prolonged strain in the workplace – has been getting a lot of focus in media and industry in recent years. Burnout can result in low-energy, negative emotions and employee disengagement. In September Eurofound will release a new report on Burnout in Europe, examining what causes burnout, the effects of burnout, and mapping where in Europe is considered an occupational disease.
