Eurofound goes audio with EurofoundTalks
Eurofound has launched its own podcast series, EurofoundTalks, which looks at key topics relevant to living and working in Europe today. Drawing on the insight of experts, the series explores critical social rights issues on the EU and national agenda, how they affect our individual lives and work, and what can be done to shape a better future for us all.
The podcast is a production of Eurofound – the tripartite EU Agency mandated to provide knowledge to assist in the development of better social, employment and work-related policies – and is hosted by Head of Information and Communication, Mary McCaughey. A new episode featuring Maria Jepsen, Eurofound Deputy Director, and Carlien Scheele, Director of the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE) on gender equality in Europe has just been published, ahead International Women's Day tomorrow. Other episodes, looking at sustainable work, the future of Europe, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on young people are also available on Eurofound’s SoundCloud page.
The next episode, to be published later in March, will feature EU Commissioner for Jobs and Social Rights Nicolas Schmit on the employment and social challenges that face Europe in the time ahead.
